By PRBabe5 Thanks to the author, I had a chance to read this ahead of the scheduled order of the stories and have to save, I loved this one. You don't really lose anything reading them out of order (at least not with this one).Skylark is a young succubus chosen to embark on the quest on behalf of her group, which also happens to includes Incubi. As such, Kragan, her first and only love is sent with her. Not knowing exactly what they are looking for, they head to New Orleans...the only part of the clue that is clear. Through several random acts, they eventually learn quite a bit about themselves and what their part of the quest will entail. Unfortunately for them, it isn't something either one of them wants.I have to say that at first, I wasn't so keen on Kragan, but as the short story progressed, I did come to like him and sure as heck wanted them to get their chance together. I'm assuming that this collection is just the start to some of these stories and that we'll get more of Skylark and Kragan. An enjoyable short story. If you like short stories, you'll enjoy this one, but remember, it is part of a collection so their is no finale. You'll have to keep reading the others to get there.

By LauraBC *I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review* (Although I also bought it anyway because I enjoyed the story so much!)The 4th book in the Supernatural Chronicals by Julia Crane is one of my favorites in the Dynamis series so far. It’s a great tale revolving around very complex and beautifully presented characters Skylark—a reluctant succubus who wishes she weren't—and Kragan—a thriving and contented incubus—and their unavoidable yet destructive (and thus impossible... or is it?) attraction. The two species drain each other, which adds some complexity (and steamy romance) to their working together to solve the mission. The tale winds fluidly through Skylark’s mysterious past, her urgent present in New Orleans trying to save the Veil, and her hopeful future with Kragan. Even though it’s short, I got very invested and the dramatic cliffhanger near the end had my fingers clutching at my kindle. I have my fingers crossed she adds to this story in future work… I enjoyed her writing and I *need* to know where it will lead!

To have each author write on a different type of supernatural. I have read all of Julia Crane books each one is different and get better and better. Whether she is writing about elves, witches, robotic girls to now succubi each book gets better and better. I really loved the development of the characters in this book. What happens when you find out secrets of your past only to find out you are the one needed to protect parts of the supernatural world. I really hope the author delves deeper and possibly write more with these characters possibly making it a series. I highly recommend this book and any other book written by Julia Crane along with the other authors in this group of Dynamis supernatural chronicles. I initially received a copy in exchange for a honest and unbiased opinion but after release purchased a copy I loved it so much.

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. A shifter love story By Marsha @ Keeper Bookshelf Allie is having a weekend away with the man she is going to marry – dictated by her father, a marriage that will join two wealthy, prominent families. The fact that she doesn’t love James is beside the point to both him and her father. On this snowy winter night Allie is heading to a remote cabin on the ranch – supposedly for a weekend away with girlfriends, but in reality she wants a chance to be with James alone to hopefully figure out what to do about this arranged marriage that is supposed to be happening soon. Because of the weather and a possible storm heading in she isn’t able to go by herself on one of the ranch snowmobiles. Instead she is being driven there by Finn. A bear shifter ranch hand, and a man who she has secretly checked out on many occasions.Finn keeps his head down and just does his job. He knows how the humans at the ranch feel about him… well, maybe not everyone but his boss for one can’t stand the sight of him. He’s watched Allie – and watched her watching him as well. There’s attraction there, but he won’t act on it. That would mean being fired faster than he could blink. But tonight he has the chance to drive her to a remote cabin and for a while at least feel her arms around him and do a bit of dreaming… even if her tight grip is only to keep her from falling off of the snowmobile. When the weather worsens and Finn can’t make it back to the ranch safely he and Allie will be stranded at the cabin. Alone, where just about anything is possible.I’ve been on a shifter binge lately it seems. So I’ve read a lot of shifter stories over the past few months and every author has a slightly different slant on the shifter legend. Roped By The Bear seemed to have very little to do with a shifter – and more involved with a rich girl who comes to realize that Finn is the man for her. Allie has been ignored by her father most of her life. She may have wealth but she has very little love at home. She knows that the marriage to James is one of business convenience. And while she and Finn could work – those people around them won’t let it happen. And soon Allie and Finn have to deal with that situation… and to say more would be giving away major spoilers.I liked Roped By The Bear and would pick up other works of the author – but I wasn’t blown away by it. Maybe I’ve just gotten so deep into the lifestyle of shifters that I expect to have that paranormal aspect be more of the focus of the story. Perhaps I’ve become used to the insta-lust or the knowledge of knowing a person is a mate. But I didn’t get the sense that Allie and Finn would fight hell and high water for the right to be together. Like I said, I liked it but it was missing a shifter something that it seems I need to believe in the everlasting fated love. I simply never felt that these two people were mates… sexual partners, yes – but not fated mates. And that reaction is on me, not the author.*I received an e-ARC of Roped By The Bear from the publisher and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. That does not change what I think of this novel.*

By Elizabeth E Neal **3.5 stars**We have two people, Finn and Allie, who are from two completely different worlds. Finn, a bear shifter, is a ranch hand for her Dad. Allie, a human, lives a pretty comfortable life money wise. However, things aren't always what they seem. Allie is lonely and tired. Her Dad isn't really father of the year material. He's basically shut himself off from Allie since her Mom died. (There's a revelation later on in the book that rocks Allie's world. It so made sense, yet I didn't see it coming. Well played.) Plus, let's not forget everything is always business related to him, including Allie's future. It's all arranged that Allie will marry James, the son of another ranching family. No, they aren't the one for each other, but in their world that doesn't seem to matter, at least not to her Dad. (See, greatest Dad ever, he is not.)Allie has plans for a weekend getaway at their family cabin to spend some time with James and see about making something of their "relationship." Fate has a different idea though and she spends it with Finn instead since a sudden storm prevented him from getting back to the ranch and James from getting to the cabin.Sexy times ensue. *bow chick a wow wow* Finn and Allie decide to see where this relationship will go, yet know they have a bumpy journey ahead of them. First, there's the obstacle of the arranged marriage with James and of course, they need to tell her Dad. Seems dear old Dad isn't exactly pro-shifter. Phooey on him.Thankfully, things work out for the better with Allie's talk with James (psst...boy was she surprised, yet they're both relieved), but not so much with her Dad. That discussion leads to Finn essentially abandoning her because he feels it's best for her. Silly man, shouldn't she be in on that decision?Six months go by with only one short glimpse of Finn and Allie is still broken hearted. When Finn reappears in her life, in an unexpected way, he admits he was wrong to leave and that he missed her. Can they reclaim what they once had? Can they combine their two worlds? Will they get a HEA?While I thought the premise was interesting, I just couldn't connect with the characters. It talks about how Allie had a crush on Finn and she noticed Finn watching her, then less than a few hours later, she's ready to throw all her plans aside and be with him. I know that kind of connection can instantly happen, yet I just didn't feel it. I also felt like I was missing parts. I can't actually put my finger on how or why I feel that way, but I had this feeling throughout parts of the book. (In all honesty, it may just be me.) While it didn't necessarily take away from the story, I felt that way more than once.I also have to admit, I had a little issue with their conversation after being reunited. They were, as Allie states when she realizes he's there to see her, apart for six months. That's not a long time in the grand scheme of things, yet comments are made that make it seem like they were both with other people during that time. Seriously? Yes, that bothered me. They loved each other so deeply, confess how much they missed each other while apart, yet neither of them could go six months without being with someone else? I didn't like that part. I readily admit that this is always a hot button for me and will probably not bother anyone else though. I do recommend you give this book a try for yourself as these may not be issues at all for someone else. I did like the premise and that they were from two totally different worlds, yet they needed each other to be complete.**I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.**

His boss at the ranch is disgusted by shifters By Kathleen Rivest Alone she must raise her children and go back to the corporate world, can she trust a man she has just met when things go wrong?Finn has always been alone. His father, a bear clan leader, abandoned him years before. His boss at the ranch is disgusted by shifters, and Finn is just dirt beneath his heal, but he longs for acceptance and the love that was always denied him. Allie's life has sucked ever since her mother died. Inside her father's ranch, relationships are as cold as the harsh Colorado winters. A fateful snowstorm throws them together, and when they're stuck in a cabin together for a weekend, sparks fly between the two damaged and lonely lovers. But now, they have to hide their relationship from Allie's father... and the man she was arranged to be married to.Can the heat of their passion melt the coldness of those closest to them?. (Amazon Blurb)I’ve always found that shifters have a tendency to be highly emotional, ranging from the passion, anger and the pain – these are things that make me love them so much. There is never any way to tell which way how the shifters will react in certain circumstances and Finn was deserted by those he thought he could depend on and even treated like he didn’t belong. Having had had a special bond with her mother, Allie found herself alone with her father in what could only be called an icy relationship, which ends with her being left out and feeling abandoned. The bond that is created between Finn and Allie is stunning – their passion is fierce and all consuming, their loyalty to each other knows no boundaries and their compassion for not only themselves but for those they care who are around them. Meredith Clarke is a new author for me, a new treasure for the paranormal genre and I enjoyed the storyline – it was different from any paranormal I’ve read so far. That is to say the focus is more on the drama and the relationship surrounding Finn and Allie rather than the suspense or the thriller aspects, which is a nice change of pace. Would I recommend this book by Meredith Clarke? I absolutely would because it’s unique and worth the read.**Received a copy in exchange for an honest review. The Demon's Captive: The YA fantasy and magic adventure series (Demons and Mages Book 2), by Phillip B Dillon

From the Author The Demon's Captive takes you on a breathtaking, action-filled adventure through one fantasy world and into another. It's an exhilarating blend of action and danger that YA fans of magic and fantasy adventure tales will love.AN INTERVIEW WITH THE AUTHORQ - Who should read The Demon's Captive? And the other books in the series?A - Everyone, of course! No, but seriously, I wrote them to appeal to adults but with a young adult audience firmly in mind. Both of the Demons and Mages ebooks can best be described as YA action adventure fantasy tales, but they're also coming of age stories with plenty of action. They're about magic and demons and danger and death, but also hope and bravery and altruism. In general, they're family friendly and will mostly appeal to fantasy fans. It you love series like Harry Potter by J. K. Rowling, Percy Jackson by Rick Riordan, and The Belgariad by David Eddings, you should enjoy these.Q - Why should I read it? What makes the Demons and Mages series so special? A - There's an old expression that you can't fake what you love. I've always loved books like these. Starting when I was young, I would go straight to the fantasy section of the library, where I'd read everything I could find. Stories with likable heroes and rotten villains, and plenty of action and pace. That's what I wanted to write when I sat down to start the Mages and Demons series and I think I've succeeded pretty well. The Mage's Servant is just that type of book. It'll pull you into a new fantasy world and leave you longing for more. Q - What order should I read the books in?A - With only two books, this should be an easy question to answer. But there's also the Free Bonus Chapter to think about, so I would suggest this order:

  • The Mage's Servant
  • The Seer's Test (Free Bonus Chapter - pick it up from my website: phillipbdillon.com/bonus-chapter-1)
  • The Demon's Captive
  • The Time Demon's Ploy (coming soon)
  • Q - Are there more books to come? A - Yes, absolutely. The Mage's Servant started off as a stand-alone novel, but the response was so good when I re-released it in 2015 that I started to kick around other ideas. The Demon's Captive is the result of that process, but it's only a start. Willem and Ryder are just beginning to understand what they're capable of, and they've got so many more stories to tell. Stories of swords and sorcery, of magic and dragons, and action and adventure. My plan is that it's going to be epic. All I've got to do sit down and let the tales come out!

About the Author Phillip B Dillon dreams about dragons and magic and heroes and adventure, all of which the real world tells us don't really exist.Because of this, Phillip spends as much time as possible inside the various fantasy lands that inhabit his head. Always a dreamer, he has wanted to be a novelist since he was four years old.He spent more than a decade honing his craft by writing everything from instruction manuals for corporate clients through to short stories for literary competitions (of which he won more than a few). He has even taught hundreds of people the art and craft of writing. The Demons and Mages series is made up of tales that are light, fast, entertaining fantasy reads packed with action and adventure, aimed towards the segment of the YA market who enjoyed the Harry Potter and Percy Jackson series.Phillip currently lives in Nelson, New Zealand, with his wife Nina and a cat that gets into far more trouble than you would believe - and then acts all innocent when she gets caught.

Moon Nicaragua (Moon Handbooks), by Elizabeth Perkins

About the Author Elizabeth Perkins was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. She started traveling in 2008 when she spent a semester studying in the Dominican Republic. Four years later, to the surprise of her loved ones, she packed up and moved to Managua to begin working as a member of the International Team of Witness for Peace (WFP), a grassroots organization committed to developing peace, justice, and sustainable economies in the Americas. As a first-time visitor to Central America, she faced a steep learning curve, but she has since mastered the public bus system and developed a soft spot for Nicaragua’s crazy capital city.During her time with WFP, Elizabeth studied the ways in which U.S. policy impacts Nicaragua and Honduras over time and regularly contributed to the organization’s blog and advocacy efforts. Along with the rest of the International Team, she also facilitated delegations from the United States who came to learn about the relationship between the two countries. When she’s not traveling, you can find Elizabeth doing yoga, cooking, teaching her Nicaraguan dog commands in English, or reading a good book in a hammock.

It is very well written and has lots of great quality photography to go with the descriptions. All pages are in color. I ordered 2 other guides about Nicaragua but this is the one I would highly recommend. It covers regions and areas very well that are not even mentioned in the Lonely planet.

By Regina Chang We just came back from Nicaragua and are glad that we got (and brought with us) this latest edition of guidebook. The information is relevant and correct. It's also an interesting read, which is always a bonus. We had bought other guidebooks before that were just so boring to read and literally put off our interest is visiting the country (can you imagine!?). Highly recommended.

We used multiple hotel/hostel choices from the book and felt the small blurbs about them were pretty close to the actual results By Rusty Shackleford We purchased this book in early December 2015 and promptly put it to work. We spent three weeks lugging this book around, using it as a reference companion to the internet. It doesn't have the abundance of information that the internet has, but it has what most people need. We used multiple hotel/hostel choices from the book and felt the small blurbs about them were pretty close to the actual results.this is an excellent book to plan your trip with and use while in country. we will purchase more Moon handbooks for upcoming trips as a result of this experience.

Just when you think that Crane might have dropped all the bombshells he is going to; just when you think Sanctuary has dealt with the worst enemy imaginable; just when you think Cyrus has lost enough, we get ... Warlord. And all bets are off.But for all the battles, the dragons, the titans and Vaste, Cyrus' personal struggle is what comes to the fore in this book - more so than the other volumes. His turmoil is described with as much skill as the many battles which take place.Be warned - this book may bring a tear or two (or more) to your eyes. It did for me. He gets more like George R R Martin with every book ...I received a copy in exchange for an honest review

I find myself worrying about the authors safety! What if something happens to Robert, and we never get to find out the end? Its especially concerning to me with the cliff hanger this book ended on. Mr Crane, please drive safely, wear your seatbelt, and no high risk activities until you finish books 7 and 8. Matter of fact, I am sure I'm not the only reader who would prefer if you wore a DOT approved helmet at all times, to protect that brain of yours until July. After that, you may go skydiving or cross the street without looking as often as you like.

This was fortuitous because after reading book 5, I checked Amazon to be delightfully surprised to see this volume had been published. I purchased this and dove in ... deeply! Delightfully, Crane doesn't disappoint. As good as the previous books in the series are, this one is better and, happily, rather long. The focus here is on Cyrus and the struggles he goes through as the Guildmaster of Sanctuary and the partner of the elf, Vara. The thoughtful introspection is just as well done as the many battles depicted. There are some incredible insights here and a tremendous bombshell dropped at the end.SPOILERWe lose some long-time friends here, unfortunately. But that's to be expected in this bloody and long struggle against the evils molesting Arkaria, anything less would be stretching believability. We also see a perhaps ally in this struggle. We also discover some powers that the main characters were unaware they had.All in all this book is just plain fantastic. Robert J. Crane continues to grow his art and the feeling here is that his craft is a great deal like G.R.R. Martin or Robert Jordan. Look forward to the final two books of the series.

Despite finishing grad school with a ton of English Language credits, I did not immediately recognize the word “Cocytus.” In fact, I’m still not one hundred percent sure I could pronounce it. The light bulb went on at the beginning of chapter one and the quotes from Dante’s Inferno. Cocytus is the lake in the lowest pit of hell.By the middle of the first chapter I was hooked. I lived in the same area of Western New York as the story opened, Fort Drum. My hubby was a member of the 10th Mountain Division, so this story made me smile from the start.A couple of grad students are on their way home for the holidays when they encounter military activity along the highway. At first, they are told there is a chemical spill causing the delay. It becomes clear that the chemical spill is a cover for something much more serious when choppers go down in the woods and a ground battle ensues. The main characters, Dante and Tina, wake to find themselves in a strange new place. The air smells of sulfur and the landscape is barren. Worst, they are prisoners of an alien race who use human clones as their “muscle.”Dante, rather charismatic for a computer science major, soon befriends other prisoners in the camp. He is shocked to learn the aliens have been to earth four times. There are thousands of humans being held in the hellish prison. The leader of the Australian camp gives Dante the run-down and warns him many of the Americans will be slaughtered in the coming “Blood Passing ceremony.”“Yeah, yeah, sounds familiar.”Not at all! This is where the story takes on a life of its own. It has strong themes including love, freedom and what it means to be human. It will stick with you long after you are finished reading. This is an extremely well written book. A great mix of sci-fi and fantasy. The characters, even the aliens, are well written, well developed and can draw the reader in. The non-military humans in particular are normal folks. They could be your neighbors. My only complaint (and it's a small one) is the military humans were a little predictable, and one in particular came off as cliché. However, I really enjoyed the naturally unfolding love story between the main characters, as well as the friendship and acceptance plot lines between the humans and the “special” clones. There were a couple of minor plot points that didn’t work for me. Military units don’t normally do field maneuvers in a state park using live ammo, but I was so drawn into the story I ignored it. The second issue was an eye roll worthy love at first sight moment. Luckily, both of the points were minor and didn’t ruin the overall plot, nor did they change my rating of the book. The book maintains a fast pace, the quotes from Dante’s Inferno at the beginning of each chapter are a nice touch, and remind the reader of the symbolism shared by both novels. The author maintained a steady pace through the middle, and provides a satisfying ending, yet leaves the reader with unanswered questions, and screaming for a sequel. I for one will be waiting.I cannot say enough good things about this author’s writing style. The book is easy to read, even during times of heavy technical jargon. The characters have unique voices. The plot moves at a good clip, and provides enough thought provoking questions to stick with you for days to come.

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Outstanding!! By Patrick Great book!!! I'm an avid sci-fi/fantasy genre fan and yet this book was refreshing on mutiple levels. The first thing I enjoyed was the pace. The book starts out quickly without being confusing and keeps going at a good clip throughout the story. Even some of my favorite authors get bogged down in that so kudos on point 1!!Secondly, and this is admittedly a pet peeve of mine with many fantasy novels; the author avoided that incredibly cliche "old guy who knows all of the important information that we're screwed without." It might not matter to anyone else, but THANK YOU! The struggles of the characters are believable and their solutions are feasible. Failures, partial successes, and surprises all abound throughout the novel without being predictable.Third, character development and dialogue was very good. The author managed to weave a lot of personalities into various characters that had me alternately smirking, laughing, cringing, raging, and occasionally wiping some moisture that had accrued spontaneously on my face.Overall, this book had it all: great action, apparently overwhelming odds, realism, specifics (I don't want to give away spoilers but some fun tech stuff!), a non-cookie cutter approach, historical elements (an underrated aspect in my opinion), and a potent look at the human spirit. I'm very much looking forward to the next book and hope the wait won't be too long!

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. It happened next door By K. Plaskocinski It has been awhile since I read a science fiction book so when I received this as a gift I wondered if I would still be interested in this genre. Upon reading the first chapter I was astounded as this alien invasion took place not more than 60 miles from where I live and I had not heard about it on the news. Seriously, the description and details of the attack got my imagination working as a good book should. The character development and later descriptions of the alien surroundings was excellent. The overwhelming might of the aliens versus puny human mankind once again gets you wondering, there's no way the author can come up with a believable plot or ending. Well I was wrong. You quickly identify with the characters and their situation and the gradual steps they take to overcome their situation. The twist and turns of the story becomes more engaging as the pages get turned. There are some emotional oh no moments along with a lot of I didn't see that coming moments. When a story captures my curiosity I have trouble putting it down as I want to continue seeing what will happen next. This is one of those books. Although the book has a final ending the author allows you to wonder, is it really over? I hope not as I look forward to a sequel.

Silverwood is the second book in a mind-twisting new YA dystopian sci-fi time travel series

Sequel to The Boy Who Fell from the Sky

A boy hacks into his own future to try to save his mother from a mysterious virus.

When Mathew Erlang’s mother becomes seriously ill, he’ll do anything he can to save her and he knows his future self would too.

Alone in an England afflicted by extreme weather, biological warfare and civil war, Mathew needs to find his older self before Lestrange catches up with him and takes him back to his own time.

    ˃˃˃ Author Interview

Q: This is the second book in the series. Will there be any more?

The Boy Who Fell from the Sky is part of the House Next Door trilogy, a series of three dystopian science fiction novels. Silverwood, which is the next is the series is already available. The third and final part, The Moon at Noon will be out in December 2015. Look out for the box-set in early 2016.

Q: Does the world really need any more teen dystopia?

Absolutely. Personally, I can’t get enough of them. What I love about dystopian science fiction is it allows you to build worlds and explore ideas on a scale that it’s difficult to do in realist fiction. But I’m hoping Silverwood and the other novels in the House Next Door trilogy offer a tiny bit of a different spin on the genre. This story is set in our own world. It starts in 2055, forty years from now, so the world is recognisable, but there are many differences in terms of everyday technology, plus climate change has already really started to kick in. When the novel opens, London has been flooded, the underground is under water, people have lost their homes. But this is also time travel fiction, so you also get to see what the world will look like in four hundred years time. If the scientists are right about climate change, then Siberia could be a tropical jungle by then.

Q: Where do you get your ideas from?

About ten years ago, I started reading The New Scientist and around the same time I came across a book by a theoretical physicist called Michio Kaku. He writes these fun books, trying to make science accessible to people by being playful. He does things like try to work out whether you can really make a light sabre or an invisibility cloak. I became fascinated by all these ideas and by the incredible possibilities of science and technology. We’re living through this huge explosion in technological innovation. It will transform many people’s lives for the better. But it also has its dark side. And, of course, then there’s climate change. I started reading avidly and widely about all these things. I built a timeline of what the various sources were saying may happen. I wanted to imagine what it would be like to live in the future, so I decided to write time travel fiction. I list all my sources on my website, if you want to find out more.

Q: Don’t you worry you’ll get the future wrong?

I write about this on my blog. It is impossible to predict the future (unless you have been there an come back like Mathew). Although some of the best augers have been science fiction writers and for every silly prediction they have made, there’s an uncannily accurate one.

The plot thickens and twists in extraordinary ways. The author is clearly in her natural flow here. It's very tightly written and full of surprises - plus the author's amazing predictions for the future.

Silverwood, highly recommended for Fantasy and Science Fiction Readers By Mary Enck I read the first in this series and just completed reading Book II. I am eager to enter the world once more in the third and continuing story. There is one character whose purpose, identity and his true relationship to the main character, The Boy Who Fell From The Sky is such a mystery. I am so intrigued by that character who lives in the house next door. I must discover more about him and the technology he plays with. Actually, the author Jule Owen must be a gamer herself. In truth, she understands the nuances of the game played out by her characters and the effect their actions and decisions make along the path to the "end game". Although they continue to say it is not a game, but rather a finely tuned exploration into what may or may not come to pass. I agree, the technology is amazing and quite believable.I love these novels. They are a paradise of speculation for the perils of our tomorrows to come. I prefer not to create spoilers when reviewing a novel from my own perspective, but rather speak of the effect it has on me. These stories of the Silverwood are so intricate and the author has created a masterful work to feed the fantasies of those of us who enjoy getting lost in a novel. I certainly have and will look forward to reading the third book.

I like that all of the core characters from the first book are still there. What’s interesting is that they are kinda playing duel roles in the same story. Not an easy thing to achieve as a writer. They are essentially the same people but at different times of life that coincide both in the later time period and the present. Intricate stuff.I like that this book leaves you with a bit of a puzzle. First you have Mr. Lestrange who exists in this other “reality” but doesn’t somehow. I’m looking forward to finding out just who he really is. Second, you have the puzzle of what Hoshi (Mathew’s mother) was working on in her lab. Third, what is the actual illness she has and will she recover? Fourth, is the “simulator” in Mr. Lestrange’s house really a time machine or a type of interactive film? Finally, if Mathew’s father is indeed dead then who was he and what was he working on?Talk about amping up the brain with intrigue. I’m basically chomping at the bit to find the answers to all my questions.

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. The cover is awesome By D. Miller An epic tale

0 of 1 people found the following review helpful. None By Amazon Customer It was a decent book. The pretense was good but the story at times moved too quickly without sufficient background or explanation. Better descriptions of events without repeated adjective use would make for a better read. Overall it wasn't a bad read but some attention to detail, vocabulary and punctuation would have made a decent book a little better.

3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Short, but great beginning of new series By mary This was a great short story, and prequel to a new series. I am looking forward to reading what happens next. Trinity Blacio's books are very well written, and keep you interested and begging for more. I loved this short story, and am definitely looking forward to reading more about these characters in the future

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Gargoyles! By Leanne Lovely introduction to a series a little different from the norm. Only reason it didn't get 5 stars was that it was so short and over in 10 minutes leaving me needing more.I'm really looking forward to seeing what happens next though. I'd love to know more about this alternate world, lifestyle, gargoyles and all the characters that have briefly come into play.I received this book for an honest review.

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. More wanted By anguissette While it is a short story I did enjoy it very much. The type of the characters are not an every day one and honestly would like to see more.
