In 1977, the cinematic world was changed forever, thanks to a science-fantasy film about a farm boy, a princess, a wizard, a cyborg, two smugglers, and a pair of robots. George Lucas's STAR WARS was a visual and audio extravaganza like nothing anyone had seen before. Today, STAR WARS remains not only a major franchise but a pop-culture phenomenon like no other. A LONG TIME AGO: EXPLORING THE STAR WARS CINEMATIC UNIVERSE examines the entire STAR WARS saga on the large and small screens. From theatrical films to TV movies, from cartoons and commercials to variety shows and video-based amusement-park rides, it’s all explored within. From Sequart Organization. Even SW has some basis on real events By Inblackestnight I heard about this book from Matt Wilkins's YouTube channel, and if you're a Star Wars fan that likes to take a deeper look into the universe, from a creative perspective, than this is the book for you. This is the first of a three-volume series and it covers everything SW that has EVER been on screen, large or small; including the things people don't talk about anymore and the Star Tours ride at Disneyland. There's something to learn in every chapter, and every contributor really outdid themselves in their knowledge and research, but I particularly appreciated the piece on Return of the Jedi because it seemed like there was more going on behind the scenes than in the film itself. One minor criticism I have with the book was the section discussing the Clone Wars cartoons; it felt a bit biased to me which contrasted the rest of the chapters' objectivity in my opinion. This is a must-read for anyone interested in how Star Wars became the pop-culture icon that it is today; breaking through to pretty much every generation since it debuted in the 1970s. I should mention; however, that while I found the book entertaining it wasn't published for that purpose. It catches you up on the cinematic universe right to The Force Awakens and is a long overdue collection of SW world-building stories.

It's had a profound effect on my life. So when I read about this book on Facebook, I was excited. And how was it? Far better than I imagined it could be.It takes a linear approach. It begins pre-Star Wars and the narrative covers everything to the cinematic universe and stops just shy of "The Force Awakens" (which will be out shortly after the book's publication). Along the way every film and TV show is visited. My favorite essay, simply because it's a topic I've invested quite a bit of time in myself, covers "The Star Wars Holiday Special". The first part is summary, since few of the readers will have seen it, and I didn't learn anything there. Then, though, the author went into the background and production, much of which was new to me."Ewoks" and "Droids" share a chapter. There's one for the Ewok movies too -- which I may have to rewatch. They're in the "Star Wars" section of our DVD shelves somewhere. There's even a chapter covering the creation and content of "Star Tours"!And then there are the surprises. I knew that the book was going to cover the Prequels (which I loathe), and I knew that they would dominate the second half. To my shock, though, the essays continued to be fascinating, entertaining, and informative. Even things to which I have NO connection, the second "Clone Wars" series and "Rebels", have essays that I enjoyed greatly. To conclude, if you're a fan at all, then you'll find something here to delight you. And probably far more than you expect. The different viewpoints remain refreshing, and I can honestly say that I enjoyed every essay.

By Sophia Marta Raptis is a business and success coach and I am so happy she has created this very practical guide for anyone who is thinking of starting a business. By KayamandaW Eric does what few other CP/what it's like to work for Disney/memoirs do - he lays out the path that the DCP take on their adventures in Disney in a way that not only gives a step by step guide, but reminds CPs of their roles within the company - cast members. Root warns against the perils of viewing your college program as simply being paid to play in Disney parks, and discusses the values of the college program. Although there are some editing errors, on the whole, I think this is a book any future DCP (including all of you getting ready to descend on WDW in January) should read. There are great tips for every stage of the DCP, from application to graduation (and yes - the goal is to graduate, not self-term!). It also offers friendly reminders that DCP CMs are being paid for a job that a lot of others will never get a chance to do - make magic, while gently reminding folks that making that magic isn't always magical.

From the author of the Light & Shadow Trilogy… Headstrong and defiant, Mahalia spends her days in the gilded cage of a noble’s life, being trained to take her father’s place as leader of their bloodline even as she dreams of running away to join the caravans that travel across the desert. There, she tells herself, she would be free to practice the magic she has always loved. But when an ancient enemy lays waste to the oasis, Mahalia is the only one left to protect her family. As a mysterious wasting sickness preys on her tribe and whispers begin, calling the Yeshuhain demon-touched heretics, Mahalia must choose whether to follow her heart…or become the protector of her people that she was born to be.

Mahalia (The Yeshuhain Chronicles Book 1), by Moira Katson

About the Author Moira Katson has been writing books just about since the time she learned to read. Over the years, everything from napkins to Physics notes to calendar pages has been covered in outlines and story bits; one of her perpetual chores is to collate her day’s notes onto the computer from the 83 scraps of paper she tends to have stuffed in her purse. Mahalia is Moira’s first finished novel, and there is a sequel and a prequel in the works! Other works include her Light & Shadow trilogy. For her other writing projects, she is currently researching Norse history, speculative science, psychology, and Ancient Egypt. Moira lives in the frozen wastes of the American Midwest with her husband and their dog, Buddy. Her non-writing hobbies include cooking, gardening, home renovations, and strong coffee.

10 of 10 people found the following review helpful. Mahalia By Korey I thoroughly enjoyed this book by first-time author Moira Katson. I was immediately drawn in by the characters, who all seemed relatable and sympathetic. Mahalia is a young woman about to be married off more or less for political gain, and because it wouldn't be proper for a woman to hold her father's title. She is firmly against this plan, having much more interest in the study of magic - even though she herself is incapable of magic. Those concerns are all put on hold though, when a demon quite literally tears apart her city, killing her parents in the process, and leaves behind an illness that seems to be rooted in magic.I appreciated that even the more antagonistic characters are sympathetic in some way. It's hard to dislike Mahalia's fiancee, even if you're on her side, because he's a genuinely nice guy. I found that far more interesting than if he were a cookie cutter anti-love interest. Nasrin is her fiancee's cousin, a woman warrior type I was drawn to as much as Mahalia herself is.The whole story is set in a desert society, which I found refreshing in a story that would otherwise be pretty straightforward high fantasy. There's magic and demons and political alliances, as well as both familial and romantic entanglements, and if that's your cup of tea (as it is mine) then this is definitely a book worth reading. There are a few different action/mystery plotlines going on, on top of the personal relationships, and I think some of the more intriguing plot lines about the origins of magic are left for the next book. But I was happy with the ending, and I look forward to seeing where the characters end up next.

10 of 10 people found the following review helpful. An unfinished story By Jeanette J. I wish the sequel to this would come out, as I very much enjoyed the world-building, the mystery, and especially the romance, which grows organically (and is, refreshingly, without fuss and bother about its somewhat un-standard nature). Everything in this book felt fresh and different, without being forced. I want to know what happens next, but I suppose the promise of a few dollars from me won't make it worthwhile for Ms. Katson to take up this series again. Which is a shame, as it's quite good.

9 of 9 people found the following review helpful. Looking ahead... By Andrea L. Anastos This is a charming, lively, and intriguing first novel which introduces some unusual and interesting characters and leaves the reader wondering what will come next. The author has chosen to under-reveal the world in which Mahalia lives, allowing the reader's imagination free rein. While I enjoy discovering fictional worlds, I am eager to read some back-story which might give me more understanding of this interesting world, its magical-religious mores, history, geography, architecture. I am hopeful that the second book may have more rich details which beckon me fully into a universe that has depth and texture. The plot moves at a realistic pace rather than the kind of concentrated passage of time we have come to expect from the evening news and prime time television. And the characters are a balanced blend rather than the more one-dimensional folk who people a lot of fantasy. It could be tempting for a first-time author to make Mahalia, in particular, overly clever or overly wise or overly brave; the author has resisted this, choosing to show this young woman in her uncertainty, her grief, and her self-doubt. As another reviewer has observed, she has also resisted making the antagonists completely unsympathetic in an attempt to make the heroine bigger and better than everyone else. But perhaps the two most unusual aspects of the book are the fact that Mahalia herself is unable to practice magic in a magical world, and that magic is only minimally understood, even by its practitioners. Instead of an internally consistent structure of magical tradition and discipline, the reader is invited to explore how magic works in this world right alongside the characters.I look forward to a sequel (and perhaps a pre-quel).

While Turesobei is forced to learn magic far beyond him, his friends are being trained to fight, and even Iniru can't meet the Blood King's exacting standards. The Blood King will turn them into a team capable of unlocking his prison…or kill them trying. The pressure pushes everyone to the breaking point. And Turesobei's inability to choose just one girl only makes matters worse. Stuck between the Blood King's whims and jealous girlfriends, Turesobei isn't sure which he'd rather face. Either way, he's running out of time.

Sexy Space Opera Series By Ariel Mathis for Always Love Me Some Books Blog *I was given these stories individually from the author in exchange for my honest review.*From Angel 6.0: Concubine:Travis really delves into a woman's deepest and darkest fantasies and does it with no warning. It's sexy, dirty, taboo, and it was hot!!From Angel 6.0 Escape:I'll say this, it's sad BUT I felt it was necessary because you see Angel's character develop and you can start to see emotions surface. From Angel 6.0: Enslaved:I especially liked how we got introduced to new characters. Chilla, I was so glad Angel finally made a friend of the same gender. They helped each other out to get through Cronin's abusive treatment of them both. Ladies, let's stick together. Women power & all that s***. The Royal family. The Emporer & Empress with their son & daughter, ALL had such an infatuation with Angel. Especially Rollick, the young Prince. Hopefully we'll get some more insight on THAT later on.From Angel 6.0: Pursuit:Overall, I felt feelings while reading this book that was unexpected. I like that though. There's a realness to this fantasy. Angel gets many of her secrets revealed and while some people couldn't handle the truth right away, it was resolved but not really when war is knocking on your front door to your happily ever after. From Angel 6.0: Emissary:This Space Opera wrapped up, not as epic and blown out of the water, like I'd thought it would be, (you know Science Fiction & all). The author had a more subtle approach, a believable one, to the end and it indeed came full circle. If you like your Sci-Fi naughty and gory then this series is one hell of a wild ass adventure you won't want to miss out on.The Angel 6.0 series really shouldn't be passed up. It's dangerous, sexy, and addictive!! If you pass this series up, you just might hate yourself later.

SISCO I have previously reviewed individual parts of this series and cannot stress highly enough what a great series this is. The basic premise is that of a lab created super human who brings good to the author's world torn by war. Muti planet multi species enemies are taken from war to a better place. This is erotica, science fiction and romance combined. Travis Luedke has restored the pulp serials of the early-mid 20th century into our modern world and I am grateful to him for doing so.BUY THIS BOX SET FOR A GREAT PULP LITERATURE EXPERIENCEI received ARC's of this series, as they were written, I'm exchange for honest reviews.

By Crystal Hool Have not read them all yet and will update as I finish....This is different form most books I have read and I wasn't sure what to expect. It was very interesting and easy to get into.Concubine - Angel is a clone on a space station. She spends her days being tested and her nights either dancing in zero gravity or with her secret lover. Then the Gran show up early and spot her. Their Captain decides he has to have her, that she is something special. Can she hide long enough for the Gran to give up and leave? There are a couple of twists I wasn't expecting, and I don't want to ruin them for anyone. I really enjoyed this and look forward to reading the others very soon.Escape - Angel has been captured by the Gran and is being held captive and forced to breed, or at least keep trying. She and fellow captive Jason are making the best of their captivity, but how long can it last? They are both keeping secrets from one another, and that almost never works out for the best. Jason has promised that an escape is coming and that he is taking her with him, but neither are prepared for what happens when its time to go.Enslaved - This time around Angel finds herself in the company of the Royal Family of Gran. While she finds new allies and even friends, she still ends up at the hands of her captor. Having to balance and translate for two sides is difficult and Angel is still trying to find someone to love her for herself....Heading off to read the next one.Pursuit - Forced to play translator between the Gran and humans, Angel is whisked back and forth across the galaxy. She has stolen moments of peace here and there with various people, but her heart lies with Captain Cesar, her pirate lover. There is a very brutal fight over Angel at one point and then she joins the fight. I loved reading this part...someone got what was coming to them for sure. :) I don't want to spoil anything but I loved several parts right near the end of this one. Can't wait to read what happens next.Emissary - This is the next part of Angel's story and a wonderful ending. She finally comes full circle and becomes her own person. From no one hiding on Nugene to slave to Princess and finally Emissary, Angel grows a bit more in each book, and I loved her more each time. I cried at one point in this book, thinking that there just has to be more, and luckily there was. I really liked how it ended and wonder if perhaps we will get to see more from the Gran in the future???I really enjoyed this and don't want to spoil anything for those that haven't read it yet, but wow didn't see that coming. Heading off to read the next book....I was given an arc of the set for an honest review.

Gryphons Aren't So Great (Adventures in Cartooning), by James Sturm, Alexis Frederick-Frost, Andrew Arnold

From School Library Journal K-Gr 3—The Knight and his horse, Edward, enjoy jumping from great heights into the lake below, but the Knight is soon entranced with the idea of flying after a chance encounter with a gryphon. The "Adventures in Cartooning" cast returns in a medieval story told through sequential art, reminding readers of the loyalty of a good friend and that sometimes taking a ride on a gryphon isn't all it's cracked up to be. Much of the art is composed of simple shapes drawn in a thick line, producing characters that stand out and can be easily drawn or replicated by young readers. The story progresses quickly through the paneled art and the speech bubbles are illustrated to emphasize the emotion conveyed in the dialogue. The character design is great and the art works hand-in-hand with the text to move the story forward. VERDICT The memorable tale will be enjoyed by a wide range of readers time and again.—Matthew C. Winner, Ducketts Lane Elementary School, Elkridge, MD

Haagen This is a sweet little book with simple yet ingenious drawings and a short but telling story. Mr. Sturm has a real knack for cartooning, all the pages are a feast for little eyes and his characters are very likeable and very true, even if you never really meet a gryphon of your own. As the book points out, sometimes your best friends are the ones closest to you !

PSA: Gryphons aren't so Great By Melaina Lara I have not seen a Adventures in Cartooning book before, but I could not resist picking this up because of the title alone. Gryphons aren't so Great, just sounds like the perfect public service announcement for kids. (And it kinda is, haha!)The cartoon/graphic novel styling is perfect for my younger reader who is always looking into to taking his older brothers graphic novels. It's easy to read, with bold words and easy to follow panels. The story was cute, and our main character learns that being friends with Gryphons comes with some unique challenges. What really reels you in is the great illustrations, simple yet super expressive graphics had my son laughing.Highly recommend, this is great for reading aloud, great for reluctant readers, and great for avid readers. I would say this is perfect for the 5 year old age range.

Sweet, fun story for budding young graphic novel fans By Bookphile We're all big fans of this series in this house, after having been enchanted by the sweet and funny Sleepless Knight, so we were very excited to see this new installment was imminent. This time around, the brave knight and faithful steed Edward face a new problem when a gryphon shows up on the scene and threatens their stalwart friendship. The knight is thrilled by the novelty of this new companion, and Edward can't help but feel jealous and left behind. As you can probably tell from that summary, this is at heart a story about learning how to navigate the ever-changing tapestry of social lives, which is a great topic for young children. My six-year-old son liked talking about the story and how Edward felt badly because the knight was so excited to spend time with the gryphon. In the end, the knight learns that true friendship is to be protected and not taken for granted. If I have one slight critique with this book it's that I would also have liked to see the gryphon become part of the circle, with the three learning that enlarging your circle of friends can be a good thing. Still, I liked that the book has a gentle message about how real friends are the ones who stick by you, even when they're nursing hurt feelings as a result of your actions. The art is very bright, colorful, and playful, as with previous books. Each page is divided up into multiple panels, so it's a great starter graphic novel for budding readers. My son especially liked this aspect of the book, as his dad and sister are very into graphic novels, but the books they read are typically too mature for him. This series offers him a nice go-to, with storylines that work really well for kids his age, and language that's simple enough for most kids to be able to handle reading it independently. If they need help, it also makes for a great read for Mom, Dad, or another loved one to share. As with previous books in this series, the insides of both the front and back cover contain simple examples of how to draw various characters from the book, which just adds to the overall enjoyment of the story. I really like how these books both encourage a love of reading comics while also making the idea of drawing your own comics accessible. We look forward to more!

Allan This book is a great little powerhouse of 10 habits that are geared towards anyone looking to get more control of their life; I have personally read a lot of books on habit development so I understand the real importance of having positive, well-balanced habits in your life. The author Brian does an excellent job of giving readers ten habits they can take right now and begin to implement immediately.Habit#1: Surround yourself with like-minded people is gold. You are the combined sum of the five people you spend the most time with. As the author states, why spend time with people who hold you back or don't support your goals? Find the right people who do.Habit#2: Provide Value is about doing a reality check to see what value you are providing to people in your company and in your life. You can work hard but without adding that value you won't get far.Habit#3: Do more than is expected, or in other words, go that extra mile. By doing more than is expected you can gain greater respect from people and they will learn to lean on you more.Habit#4: Understand Personality Styles focuses in on knowing your strengths, and weaknesses. By knowing more about yourself you can analyse the various personality types to better understand what makes people tick.In Habit#5 "Do what you know wan don’t what you feel" the author shares with us his morning routine that I find to be very empowering. By following a similar routine or creating one of your own, you can get more out of your day.Habit#6: Practice Servant Leadership is all about serving others and not yourself. By showing others what they are capable of and building motivation within your team this creates a feeling of mutual respect. You could practice this both at work and at home.Habit#7: Be a Professional Learner is about learning as much as you can no matter how much you think you know or education you might have. Keep on being a learner! Habit#8 is a good one on exercise because everyone needs more of this these days. My favourite is Habit#9: protect Your Thoughts because in today's world with so many distractions it is getting harder and harder to manage our thinking with all the tech stuff and information overload. You have to protect your thoughts, focus your thoughts and take action. Finally, Habit #10 is about taking action. Without that, the rest of the habits won't matter. Take action on these habits and you'll get some strong results.I recommend this book for the value it brings and you are getting ten great habits worth investing time in. The book is well-written and the author speaks to his readers in a confident but friendly tone that keeps the pages turning. You can also read this book in just under 90 minutes which makes it the perfect companion for those "supermarket Line-ups" or waiting for your plane.

The main difference between the successful person and the frustrated person is that the successful person has adopted several key habits in life that help him/her drive toward the goal of attaining that succss. Whereas the frustrated person is dictated by what life gives them and just "goes with the flow" so to speak. Are you frustrated with where you are in life? Are you just starting out on your own and want to develop a healthy pattern of action? Then read and re-read and re-read again Bryan's book! Crack open your head like a coconut and pour it in you! I promise you won't be disappointed.

This is an excellent source for college students, recent graduates, future leaders or those looking for an edge in their careers. Habits not only gives you a base to form but also relates to the reader by providing real world examples from the authors experiences.Looking forward to the other books in the FLIGHT series to see what other insights the author has to offer.

The Naughty List, by Michael Fry, Bradley Jackson

From School Library Journal Gr 4–7—When the abandoned, zombie-eyed inflatable Santa that Dad left on the roof for an entire year (while he was off in North Dakota working in the oil fields) deflates and attacks Bobbie Mendoza, leaving her with a broken wrist and an epic case of angst, Bobbie decides that Christmas stinks and she is going to ignore it entirely. Then she realizes that her little brother's happiness depends on his belief in Christmas and Santa Claus. Her attempt to get him the gift of his dreams lands them both on Santa's Naughty List, which turns out to be a lot more serious than she could have imagined. Cinematic mayhem includes the evil Watcher, a depressed Santa, Larry the Red-Antlered Reindeer, a helpful whale, lots of refried beans, murderous snow angels, Seal Team Nine (made up of actual marine mammals with helicopter beanies), and an entire contingent of blow dryer-wielding snowmen. Bobbie and her maybe not-so-crazy uncle Dale are tasked with taking down the Watcher and ending the Naughty List for good, and both learn Important Things about courage, family, and the holiday spirit. VERDICT This graphic novel/fantasy hybrid should appeal to graduates of Captain Underpants.—Mara Alpert, Los Angeles Public Library

Review "Bobbie embarks on a whirlwind North Pole adventure that involves robo-narwhals, angry snow angels, and the Naughtiest Child in the World. Like Fry's Odd Squad books, the series unfolds through a mix of text, comics sequences, and illustrated gags that will keep kids laughing from start to finish, even as the authors balance the wackiness with some touching family moments." - Publishers Weekly"The copious illustrations, black-and-white cartoons reminiscent of Fry's comic strip, "Over the Hedge," add fun, clarity, and (oddly enough) believability to the text. Despite the female main focus, boys will enjoy the story too. References to butts, farts, and lead reindeer Larry's incontinence will cause mirth and the occasional guffaw. Readers of both genders will take to this original and hilarious story--so long as they do not still believe in Santa." - Kirkus Reviews"A great story, lively drawings, and a cast of unforgettable characters. What else could you want for Christmas? The Naughty List is a book for all seasons!" --Lincoln Peirce, bestselling author of the Big Nate series "If you are like me you normally don't read Christmas books because there aren't enough robo-narwhals, submarines, refried beans, and Ninja Santas in them. Fry and Jackson just fixed that." --Tom Angleberger, bestselling author of the Origami Yoda series

The plot is smartly crafted, developing from a zany, compelling beginning into a sweet, unexpected conclusion. The characters are hysterical and so smartly illustrated that I laughed out loud (and I'm a grown up), yet the message delivered is such a positive one. This is a book that appeals to all ages, with many different levels of writing and humor, but it especially fills a need for Christmas books for 9 yo and up. It will become a Christmas classic around our house.

To do that she must go to other side to disable the Watcher while dealing with Ninja Santa, Larry the Reindeer, and "crazy" Uncle who lives in their basement.I loved the story and characters. I laughed out loud. The drawings are as much a part of the story as the words. A perfect story for the Christmas season. Just like Bobbie, you'll never see Christmas the same way again.

5 of 5 people found the following review helpful. Still fun, but a bit of a disappointment By Timothy C Allison Yesterday's Hero picks up where No Hero has left off. After saving the Earth from the Lovecraftian horrors of the first book, Arthur Wallace & the team from MI37 must now stop time travelers from the Soviet Union who are attempting to change the time stream in order to achieve Soviet supremacy. If you haven't yet read No Hero, that would be recommended before trying Yesterday's Hero. Wood does very little to bring new readers up to speed. I think that you would probably be a bit lost. It's impossible to evaluate series titles without reference to the other books in the series. In this case, I have to feel that Yesterday's Hero comes out rather poorly. While there were some issues with character development in No Hero, I felt that it was rather excusable considering that it was the first book in the series. Unfortunately, rather than delve more deeply into the characters already introduced, Wood introduces more than a few new characters. The effect is that now we have a large number of underdeveloped characters, rather than a deepening relationship with any of the characters in the series.Additionally, the change in focus on the villains of the piece changed the tone considerably. While the Lovecraftian horrors of the first book provided a nice horror element, the Soviets of Yesterday's Hero seemed rather toothless in comparison. In fact, the entire premise of the villains struck me as rather hilarious. I found myself wishing that Wood had played up the comical nature of this threat.Still, many of the strengths of No Hero do carry over into this second title. The pacing was first rate, with action & intrigue propelling the reader through the story. The bureaucratic horrors of government work are further explored, and Wood does still provide the wit that was so charming in the No Hero.

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Great read! By William Clemo Finished it last night. Looking very forward to the third in the series. I'm glad there are urban fantasy authors that are willing to write gripping stories that don't focus on sex as an easy way to fill pages.

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. One of my favorite books of 2012.... By The Qwillery I'm going to say this right up front: Yesterday's Hero is one of my favorite books of 2012. Why? Read on.In the second book featuring Arthur Wallace, former Oxford (England) detective and now MI37 agent, Jonathan Wood has written a fantastical story complete with evil Russian wizards, a save the world scenario, a scintillating and fast-paced plot, and most important, characters that I care about deeply. Jonathan Wood made me cry... more than once. And I can't tell you why. Let's just say I became so heavily invested in the characters that I really felt for them. I knew them from the first novel, No Hero, and got to know and understand them even more in Yesterday's Hero. The staff of MI37 is a collection of highly quirky individuals, each very well-written. Even the secondary characters from the first novel feel like old friends in Yesterday's Hero. In addition, a new set of characters fighting against the bad guys alongside of, but not with, the MI37 agents is introduced. Each of these characters is fascinating. Finally on the supposed good guy side there is one character in Yesterday's Hero that I absolutely despised, loathed and hated. He was brilliantly written, thoroughly awful and I was hoping he'd met a grisly death. You'll have to read the novel to see what happens to him. While Yesterday's Hero is chock full of action, there are moments when it is contemplative as well (sometimes in the midst of a lot of action). The story is told from Arthur's perspective so we are carried along on his train of thought throughout. Arthur is an unlikely hero, bumbling along at times, but always trying to do the right thing. Relying on his detective skills is never more important than in Yesterday's Hero. The story itself is engrossing and nail-bitingly tense at times. However, it's not all gloom, doom and destruction. There are moments of humor throughout. Yesterday's Hero moves at a steady clip as Arthur tries to save the world... again.Bottom Line: Yesterday's Hero is a beautifully written fast-paced Urban Fantasy with an engrossing story and characters you'll love to love and even love to hate.I give Yesterday's Hero 5 Qwills.
