An End to Humans Destructive Path By Rebecca L Rogers :::::I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review:::::With having six different authors this story flowed and was seamless between each writer, it was extremely well written. Each one built and added to the story. While this is not my chosen genre that I love to read, this book was extremly interesting and drew me in from beginning to end. I found it extremely intriguing that the Europan's were thought of as a peaceful race. And one day they felt enough was enough and decided to go ape s*** on the destructive humans with the plan of total annihilation. While not all humans were deemed destructive there were those that had gotten altered and were considered part of Europan. Thank you to all of you for your time and providing me with great entertainment!

By May There's a lot of authors involved and as a result, the work is quite eclectic.I'm going to say if plain and simple, but overall, remember that I really liked that book - the whole concept is brilliant.Getting my head around what was happening took some time, but once I got it, I liked the idea and wanted to know more.Creed was a good start. I would have preferred if the author hadn't been quite so generous with the whole italic thing - it gives me a bit of a headache after a while - but hey, wouldn't be the first or the last. I like the style, despite that.Broken was better yet; the writing was exceptional at the start, really getting you into it.Crimson Coil was one of the ones I disliked the most. Back at Italic City, but that didn't annoy me as much as the prosaic style; it's just not my thing. It was well written, admittedly, but definitely not to my taste.By Triggers, I start to get that there's some sort of a rhythm, some logic, and even the parts I didn't like before make more sense. It's unexpected, and quite well crafted.Trigger is definitely a story I enjoyed, I'd actually like the author to create a whole world around it and write more and more, 'cause I'm greedy like that. It's more "girly" than the rest, and not only because the characters are female; it's just has more depth of feeling, if that makes sense.A gift of fire - I must have got over my aversion to italic bulks because I really enjoyed that one. Short and not so sweet, it's lyrical but it makes a hell of a lot more sense than "Crimson coil."Average Joe seemed a bit more stagnant, probably because of the predominance of the narration, first, then the predominance of the dialogs, it hasn't found a happy medium. Some stuff should have been polished - capitalisation etc. I found it rather dull and the fact that it was longer than the rest didn't help. The swarm was boring. The Battle of Europa started well but got redundant and stagnant.By fields of gold, I've reasoned that I'm just not a Eugene Kelly fan.En Caul was intriguing from the first little paragraph, and it never lost its edge. It seems to have a few more layers than some of the stories, which makes it harder to understand at first, but also more interesting. It's seems to be a turning point in the story and it could have been stretched over a full novel, easily. And the stars wept... - so did I, when I realised I had to read another one of those.Overall, I think the anthology can have a well deserved 4/5I'd give some of those stories a good 5/5, others a 3/5 so that's a good medium. I tried to read it by bits and pieces first, and it was hard to grasp; I've just read it all from start to finish and, to be frank, it's actually brilliant - a true anthology, rather than a random collection of short stories.

I will give my overall opinion of the works in the books, and then I will break it down bit by bit. On a whole, this book was well written, the different authors adding different stories showed variety and intriguing difference in writing style. Though, I think I might just prefer sci-fi movies over the books. The attention to detail made this book something you didn't want to read before going to bed. It's vivid. Kudos on the gore man. I do have to say, some parts were harder to digest than others, but again, it was well written and kept you reading on.Creed - I was into it, he had me going with his tyrannical way of speaking. I mean he sounded like a politician and I know it was meant to be serious, but I couldn't help but chuckle at him.Broken - Oh yes! Jason. lol. I mean... *clears throat* This was good, there was a little mystery, some action and a good guy working for a corporation he despised.Crimsom Coil - Oh gosh! I mean, in the most respectful way ever dude... Shut up!!!! lol. I didn't like this one. He's still ranting and raving about something that in all honesty, I skipped. It was cute the first time, but the second time.... Maybe I need to read it again???Triggers - Well, I kinda had to go back to Crimson Coil and read the part I skipped and then it clicked. This self-righteous politician from another part of the cosmos was responsible for the events that took place in this chapter. It was well written and I loved that it wasn't all rainbows and sunshine, but back bone and grit! Well done. I have a need to know more about Ledge and Jaara. Consider writing more?A Gift of Fire - Now this I can handle. It's not like the previous rants he had in the past. This is more of a gloat I won the election speech. It's not long, but it's to the point. I actually read all of it this time, in all it's descriptive glory. (Stuff to give me nightmares. I wont look under the bed and I will recycle! lol)Average Joe - Honestly, I'm not sure if this was essential to the plot. It feels like it can be a good stand alone book. From going from our politician plotting war, to this drawn out episode. I think that the author should have taken time to manipulate the plot. Some of the information given wasn't necessary and it distracted us from the overall plot. (My least favorite part of the book.) It lived up to it's name, average.En Caul- Yes PLEASE!!! like This was worth it. I was pulled deeper into this world, I blinked only because I had to. It was captivating. I'm going to ask the author now. Please make this storyline a novel ( yes I know i skipped over some but it'll be summed up below.)Breaking down the rest would kill me because honestly, I can't stand to say anything mean and I just don't want it to outweigh the good... It became a bit redundant and I found myself getting frustrated. It took me 4 times to finish this book and I wasn't happy that I had to struggle. Some stories were super good and had me wanting more and the others just lacked anything of substance for me to grab on to. I will give this a 4 out of 5 rating, because collectively it was well written, maybe I should say that parts of it just wasn't my thing.
