By MissPhyre If there is one thing I have come to expect from Stormy Smith, it is that she as a tendency to out-do herself with each book she puts out. Bound By Prophecy is no exception to that.We start off right where Bound By Spells ended. This is another book that you will not want to put down. I decided to live tweet as I read this and, as much fun as it was, I hated putting my kindle down to tweet my reactions. {you can read my tweets by clicking here – No spoilers} I was reading as much as I could any chance that I got. I already want to go back and re-read the whole series beginning to end. While in the beginning it isn’t all action, action, action, the story in no way feels slow. There is still a lot going on we need to know about before we dive into the fray. We get a few answers and about a million more questions, but mystery is one of the many things that makes the Bound Series so amazing. Another is that Stormy Smith never takes the story where you expect it to go. I am constantly surprised. More than once I had to re-read a passage or two to make sure it had really just happened!Amelia is still her stubborn self but we do see some growth in her. She is more thoughtful and less impulsive. Her relationship with Aidan continues to grow as well. I love that Aidan goes all ‘alpha’ on us but is still able to keep himself in the process. Of course I can’t leave out B! This girl is the best friend everyone wishes they had and she is still that in Prophecy. I love that we get to see her happy in the end, though I never ever expected how that happiness would come about!! I’ve always had a bit of a soft spot for Micah and I’m hoping to hear a little more of what happens for him after the end of Prophecy *hint*hint* My dear Cole was always my favorite male character in the Bound series. I love all the big-brother protectiveness. He will to whatever he can for Ame, not thinking of what it might cost him. I’m so happy we get to have little Dillon running about here and there. I love that little bug and, like Amelia, I want to carry him around in my pocket! We briefly meet a few of the women from Spells. One of which is Willow. She intrigued me and carved herself a little place in my heart with her actions and kind words. I’m also hoping to hear a little more of what happens for her after the end of Prophecy (*hint*hint* Stormy!……please?)Have you ever picked up a book, starting reading and it resonated so deeply that you think there couldn’t have been a better time for you to have read it? That is what Bound By Prophecy was for me. That is how much I love this book. My life took an unexpected turn so I dove into this book hoping for a distraction. What I got was so much more than that. It was comfort. It was wisdom. It was the help I didn’t know I needed. Even putting all of that aside, I was blown away by how much Stormy Smith has grown as a writer. The story flows unlike anything I have read before with so many turns you never know where your destination truly lies.I would give Bound By Prophecy a million stars, but alas the highest rating is 5. So I guess I’ll settle for putting 5 stars.

Bound by Prophecy, the much anticipated ending to the Bound series…I feel like this is usually the point where I tell you how bittersweet this ending was, because while it was AWESOME, it was also the END. But here’s the thing, I can’t say it was anything other than sweet. Smith did a wonderful job wrapping everything up while still leaving other story lines open for more to come in the future, which I LOVED! So you really got the feeling that while this particular story line has come to it’s end, the fantastic world that has been created here is not finished yet.I thought I had a good idea of what was going to happen in this book before hand, but let me tell you it went about things in a very different way than I had anticipated. I thoroughly enjoyed some of the twists and where they took the story as a whole. Even one of the romance plot lines threw me for a loop, but I actually thought it made a lot of sense in the end, and it made me super excited for the way that it left a certain someone open for new and thrilling possibilities! It was really fabulous to see everyone come back together in the end. I loved that you got lots of Aidan and Amelia time. Even while things were moving forward full force, there was plenty of growth and sweet moments between the two lovebirds which I appreciated. Now we desperately need to talk about Micah *ahem…Jennifer*It’s no secret that Micah has been my championed underdog in this story since book one, which is really saying something since he definitely made some mistakes and was a part of things that made his alliances seem sketchy. But I KNEW in my heart that he was a good guy and he would come through it all on the right side! And if you’ve read our previous reviews here at Bookworm Coalition then you already know that Jen and I have never seen eye to eye when it comes to dear Micah.NOW after the dust has settled, the million dollar question I am dying to know….what say you now Jennifer????!!!Now seems as good of a time as any to hand over the reigns to Jen and let her tell you her thoughts on everything (like her newfound Micah love!)… NOOOO!!Ok, so maybe, just maybe I like Micah a tiny small itty bitty more. Doesn’t change everything that has happened in this series. That’s all you get about that. I have been burned too many times by Micah and it takes way more than a few hundred pages to change my mind. I mean, really…even Bethany (literally all I heard was, “Yes, Tricia, you were right all along!”)HA!!I will not even tell you!Let me just say that Charlie and Onyx…mind blown! There are so many different things that happened in here that I would love to shout out to the world and spoil the whole darn thing for you, but I think this one needs to be a surprise.I’m not going to lie, I had a certain expectation before I started this book. I did not get what I was expecting, I got something that was completely different. One of my all time favorite things made an appearance towards the end, and quite honestly it was the one thing that I loved most. There is so much character growth in this book. People maturing, and taking charge. Doing what needs to be done to take their world back. The evil of the Queen and the surprisingly deceptive Rhi. Reading what the Queen didn’t know was almost heartbreaking. Then of course, I remembered that she was bats**t crazy!I love how this book has been left an open ending. Bound by Prophecy was an ending to a chapter in the lives of Aidan, Amelia, Micah, Bethany, Cole, Baleon and all the others we have come to love. Prophecy is not the end of this amazing world, there is still a whole world of Immortals that is waiting to be explored.Thank you so much Stormy Smith for allowing us to be included in this amazing journey! Yes, thank you Stormy, and I know I speak for both of us when I say we really look forward to what you come up with next! We received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I really appreciated all the little tie-ins with things from the previous 2 books. And holy cow did some things go in a completely different direction than I was expecting! Totally kept me on my toes.I always find it difficult to review the final books in a series, b/c I don't want to give things away!! Plus, at this point I think my reading slump has instead turned into a review slump where I'm just not sure what to write to convey my feelings. So my feelings.... Well, this book picks up right where we left off at the end of Bound by Spells. The chemistry between Amelia and Aidan is still delicious. Amelia wasn't always my favourite heroine, she could be a bit too...stubborn? No, that's not it. Regardless, she's still that Amelia in this one, but she's tempered a bit more with patience and thoughtfulness. I appreciated the consistency in her character but showing that growth as well. Aidan was actually a bit more alpha male than I was expecting. Not necessarily a bad thing, but it caught me off guard here and there. You know who was the surprise winner for me?? MICAH!!! I have been transformed into a card carrying Micah fan. That boy just walked in, grabbed my heart and wouldn't let go. Even when his story went in a slightly different direction than I was expecting, I was still all in. And Baleon became so much more too!! Definitely my surprising fave characters of this book. It didn't hurt that we got a few chapters from Micah's perspective. All in all this was a winner for me. And if my guess is right, then I can't wait for a spin off!!
