I love the interaction between Xoe and Chase. I'm glad they have finally given in and decided to give their attraction a chance. I love that she gets to have a form of closure with her father at the end of book and that her tells her what he was working on even though we the reader have no clue what it is, which means there will be another book....YES!!!! I love this series. As far as I'm concerned Ms. Roethle can write 20 or 30 or 40 books in this series and I will buy every book as long as she keeps it interesting and keeps showing character growth. I would love to know how Xoe pulls things from the Dream world she isn't supposed to though i.e. Dorrie and now the spirit guide. This series is a worthy read and is safe enough (meaning no real nudity or sex scenes) for its intended audience (young adult), but exciting enough to draw in even the middle aged.

Xoe's grandmother is (was) the stuff of nightmares. I hope there's a way she can keep in touch with her father. I hope her mother finally comes to terms with her life. I'm doing a lot of wishing here. Alexius is a good addition. That was a nice surprise. LOVE the character of Dorrie and all her pet names for Xoe. Too bad there's not a witch powerful enough to do a Pinocchio on Dorrie and make her a "real" girl. Not fond of Chase as Xoe's boyfriend. Jason was a good match in the beginning and continues to be in my humble opinion. Still, the story is interesting and creative. Nice to see the characters don't just drop off the radar. Cliff hanger in a good way.

Maybe I just didn't get it, or they will be answered in upcoming books. I'm excited for Chase finally getting his chance. I feel they are better together than Jason. And I hope it works. The Dalmatian is so confusing, nice addition but I don't understand why he's there or how he got there. Like I said many questions came up at the end, while exciting and a decent ending it just makes me all that much more impatient for another book. If you haven't read the series, please do, it is a great one. it's made me laugh, cry, and really feel for the characters.
