Good biography of an industry legend By Matt I clearly did not read the same book as the other reviewers, or perhaps I was reading it through a different lens. As a former employee of Cedar Fair and willing beneficiary of Mr. Kinzel's coaster wars, I found this to be an interesting read about one of our industries great achievers. Yes, he made some bad decisions toward the end, but it's not our place to presuppose what Mr. Kinzel was thinking at the time based on our own dislike for those decisions. While you can't capture everything that happened to Mr. Kinzel in over 40 years in 115 pages, I do believe that the author did a great job of showing both the positive side of Mr. Kinzel's career and accomplishments as well as the decisions that even he felt were mistakes.

By Molly I enjoyed this book because it a feel of Dick Kinzel and his life in the amusement park industry - exactly what I’d expect from a biography. In reading other reviews, it’s important for me to mention that although Mr. Kinzel was not a perfect man...He faced circumstances that called for him to make choices that others may not agree with. This book shows both the good and the bad of his work at the parks and I was impressed how the author was able to get him to open up and talk so candidly about the last years of his career and life since retiring. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in the history of Cedar Point and roller coasters. Great stocking stuffer!

I had heard so much about this man over the years and was excited when I discovered this book. I hate long winded biographies.This one gave me a great idea of who Dick Kinzel is in a well written and to the point story. Well done!
