Interesting characters and some twists to the genre. One note which I found frustrating. Many of the characters used "Brit Speak". Yes, there are a couple Brit characters, but the majority of the characters are American and the setting is America. I looked at the author's Amazon profile, but could not find where he is from. Savory snacks and babies in cots? Trolley loads of goods and charging glasses? Overall, a good series with a number of flaws. Still worth reading.I borrowed these books via Kindle Unlimited.
