Glory has been betrothed to another Ivy shifter since she was a toddler but that didn’t stop her from falling in love with Dane when she was a teenager. While Dane’s family was hunted by rovers shifters who kill other shifters it was Glory’s parents and sister who ended up in the line of fire. When Dane leaves all the sudden the loss of her parents as another tragedy Glory withdraws into a hibernation with her Ivy. Dane left Woodland Creek behind after Glory was killed becoming an actor but when his uncle dies he returns home to find things aren’t always as they seem.Finding out the real reason the one you left abandoned you and that the love you lost isn’t really dead comes as a shock to both of them. While it’s been years since they saw each other the passion they shared hasn’t died if anything being together it’s gotten stronger and neither one is willing to let the other get away again. However Dane’s uncle’s murder are closing in and Glory ends up in the crosshairs. Will Dane save her in time? How will Glory feel when she learns even more truth that she expected?I love Glory she’s a very unique shifter considering she’s a plant. I totally would have done what she did withdrawing into my Ivy having dealt with the tragic loss she did. I admit I wasn’t sure about Dane when it first starts off he’s kind of known in Hollywood as a player. Yet he does have some redeeming qualities like his love of Glory. The chemistry between these two is very steamy and hot!!!!I’ve been working my way through the Woodland Creek series which has become one of my new favorites. It’s multiple authors creating unique stories set in the same town with a variety of supernatural creatures and some similar ideas. This one contains an Ivy shifter which I found very unique and interesting to see how her shift worked out. I like the idea of a snow leopard it’s not something I’ve seen before. I really enjoyed reading Unbound’s unique story set in Woodland creek a perfect mix of story and steamy moments. This isn’t my first book by the author so I had a bit of an expectation and it doesn’t disappoint. I very much enjoyed Glory and Dane’s story it’s a perfect example of a romance at Woodland Creek.

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. I'll have to look into this series By Amazon Customer I’ve read all of the stories of Elle Thorne’s Shifter series and their spinoffs. This story is based in Woodland Creek. Unlike her other stories, Woodland Creek is part of a collaboration of stories of other authors, too but not like an anthology. If you read or have read the Mating Season stories you’ll understand what I mean. The lead characters in this story are Dane, a snow leopard shifter and Glory—an ivy shifter. I must admit, that of all of the shifter books and stories I’ve read, this is the first story with plant shifters in it. When I first read that, I was wondering what kind of animal Glory would be because I wasn’t expecting a plant. This is the first story from the Woodland Creek series that I’ve read but I loved it. You spend most of the story feeling sorry for Dane and Glory and what they have been through—not to mention the circumstances that lead to why they were separate and so internally miserable. In the end, all works out, but I’m curious to know more about the Ivy Shifter Creed and what other kinds of non-animal shifters could join her stories or this series.

There's just something about her strength and commitment to the shifters she loves that makes the heart warm. Dane is a snow leopard and Mea helped raise after his parents died. Glory is ivy shifter that lives next door to Dane growing up. Even though they are forbidden to be together Dane and Glory fall in love with each other as teens. In Unbound, we see just how much life can get in the way of itself. Dane and Glory's story is heartwarming, tragic, sad, terrifying, full of heart ache but most of all full of love. Elle has done a wonderful job sharing their story. She has also setup a wonderful new world in Woodland Creek. I can't wait to see what happens next. What about Glory's sister? The Royal's? What happened to Sara? I can't wait to read the rest of the series to find the answers.

Davis Balogun Ojetade continues to deliver the goods in this exciting sequel to The Chronicles of Harriet Tubman. This time Harriet and Stagecoach Mary travel to the alternate America of Freedonia to save the life of Bass Bello. As before Balogun gives us historical figures like you've never imagined and enough twists and turns to make a ballerina dizzy. A great read from a great writer.

Lovely bear shifter romance By Crystal Sin Sweet and sexy bear shifter romance, I really loved reading about Cliff and Amber and their journey toward love.Amber has the worst luck with men, they always end up being losers. During another cancelled bridal shower, her and her friends think up the perfect man for her, now all they have to do is find him. But after a very strange vow to her friends, she decides to give up men all together.Cliff is a bear shifter whose inner bear is driving him crazy to find a mate, and now! He is determined to find the perfect woman for him.With the help of some tricky friends and a shifter dating website, these two will come together, but will they stay together? Will Amber stick to her no man rule, or wise up and realize that Cliff really is the perfect man for her? I loved being able to read from the perspective of both Amber and Cliff, it gives a depth to the story that is very enjoyable. I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

By Amazon Customer This is the first Tiffany Wilde book that I have read, and it won't be the last. I absolutely loved Bearly Wed. The story line was clean and precise, Amber, bless her heart is like so many of us, looking for love in all the wrong places, and with the wrong men. But Amber has 2 best friends since childhood, that decide to help her in finding the right man. They sign her up at a Shifters Single site. And did it ever work, Cliff the hunky bear shifter saw her picture and that was it, he had found his MATE. Hummmmm I wish there was such a site, WOW. Amber and Cliff have their HEA. It was a lovely read and I enjoyed every moment of it. I will be recommending this book to my friends and family. I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is a quick entertaining read about a young lady so desperate for someone that she keeps choosing the wrong fellow. After the third bridal party is called off, her friends decide to help her out. They set her up on a internet dating site featuring shifters. The young werebear is so ready for his mate that he tries to make sure he has anything she might need to be happy. Enjoy I did.

Unique, mesmerizing and a hit with our 3.5 year old By Amir Pedram The story is captivating and every day our daughter brings it to me at least a couple times to read to her. I really like that the vocabulary and sentence structures of the story are not "dumbed down". And yet it's easy to follow and every time I read it I feel excited and full of anticipation. The symbolism and underlying message of the story are a great reminder for us adults and priceless guides for the little ones.The illustrations are unique, and every page is completely in sync with that part of the story. I really loved the fact that our daughter was thinking outside the box when she saw the illustrations. Every time we read it she discovers something new and we talk about it.I'm hopeful that this the first of many more masterpieces of Love that we can expect to see.

I generally skip many pages in self-help books because the writer thinks I need to listen to their sales patter. I already bought your book, isn't that enough? There is a gentle suggestion at the end of the book which doesn't make you feel the least bit annoyed. In fact I am considering the pitch....- Amazingly candid anecdotes from professional experience that will leave you either cringing or nodding your head in recognition of the point she's making.- Very specific recommendations about what to do. The chapters don't just leave a general guidance note. For instance, on bespoke tailoring she talks about exactly what matters in a tailored suit and how to deal with budgetary concerns etc.- It is probably the most widest in scope. It's not just your physicality that's the issue here. The writer discusses things such as media portrayals, social media use and confirmation bias. A very 21st century outlook.- The book covers research materials for each topic. I prefer it when I get presented with some data for claims made in books!What I didn't like (or what I thought was missing):- It lacks a contents page, with the chapter headings. It was particularly a problem for me because I bought the Kindle version, I guess. I prefer to be able to flip back and forth between chapters when I am reading non-fiction to keep track of points I think are aligned together.- It leaves it up to the reader to summarize an action plan. I feel like this could have been done relatively easily given how many practical suggestions are made in the book.But these are really nitpicky points. I think it was a pretty good read, packing in lots of valuable action points that I am trying to incorporate into my daily life.I outlined the chapters because I usually find that helps me a lot in deciding whether or not to buy a self-help book. But I couldn’t because I wasn’t done with it. I’m still not. Oh, I have read it through but I am by no means finished with it. This is a book to be read and then re-read in small chunks, thought about and applied.The Image of Leadership by Sylvie DiGuisto is a full-on, practical, straightforward reference manual for anyone serious about being and being perceived as, a leader.Ms. DiGuisto doesn’t pull any punches in her opinions or advice…like the executive leaders she has advised. That by itself was refreshing.There are simply too many valuable points to even begin to try and list. I could mention +1/-1, or the various “challenges” she outlines (we all know them by their dress and behavior) or the appearance of your desk, car and yes, family.I think this book should be handed out to anyone who is entering the workforce, even in those industries regarded as “casual dress”. Perhaps especially for those in “casual dress” because you can really mess up in a casually dressed environment and completely undermine your leadership imprint.If you are unsure about whether you should buy this book or not think of it this way: what if the person you are competing with did buy and read it? Ignore this absolute gem at your career peril.

I'm an aging, overweight Texas guy who is lucky to show up with all my buttons buttoned and my hair somewhat combed. But once I met Sylvie di Giusto, I wanted to see what she had to say on the subject of image, because she's about the coolest-looking person I've ever met. To my delight, her book is not a mostly-for-women-but-here's-a-bit-for-the-men presentation, but an immensely readable, instantly applicable guide to making the most of your personal image...EVEN IF you're an aging, overweight guy.Sylvie names the names and tells the stories of people we all know about, and she points out with clarity what they get right and what they get wrong. It is jarring to know that a potential employer might pass on hiring you just because of your tie or your shoes, but that is a real possibility today. Sylvie's guidelines helped me to assess my wardrobe and see what items made the right impression and which ones just say, "I have given up on society."You'll enjoy this book; it's a quick read, but packed with useful insight and ideas that you can use right away, wrapped in fascinating personal stories. I loved it!
