About the Author Since 1999, JASON DAVIS has been an entertainment industry executive with a broad range of titles including award winning songwriter, award winning author, A&R executive, executive TV Producer, entertainment consultant, former Senior Vice President of Dolly Parton’s Management Company, and founder of entertainment corporation One One 7. A native of New Jersey, he began his career as a hit songwriter, topping the Contemporary Christian Music charts, winning multiple ASCAP songwriting awards, and being nominated for a Latin Grammy. Davis has also secured record deals with CEO’s from the largest music companies in the world, including Capitol Records, Sony, Interscope, Island / Def Jam, Epic, Atlantic, RCA, and J Records. Traveling between New York, London, Los Angeles, Miami and Nashville, he built a reputation working with the top songwriters, producers, and recording artists in the entertainment industry. An exciting feature of the book is that Jason gives an insiders look into the mind-set, attitude and wisdom used by him and other successful persons that have allowed them to build and grow some of the most successful businesses that we know today. This little book packs a big punch! It is immensely helpful with advice on how to lead people and be a good steward of gifts that God has placed on your team and in your care. The best thing about Jason Davis is his devotion to the Lord and how approachable he is in every day life. I love to see an imperfect person create perfection and that's what he's done with this book and his business. Jason doesn't give advice unless he's lived it himself and that's so refreshing. The ideas he discusses are implemented throughout his business practices and he offers you an outline to success without the trial and error most people have to suffer through. He truly practices what he preaches and his success is evidence of the wisdom and expertise he is delivering to you on a black and white, backwards platter of excellence in the form of this beautiful book. Do yourself a favor and read something that will transform your life. Business Backwards is amazing!

After reading Jason's first book, "Your Love Pursue's", it was easy to know he was a remarkable individual. Business Backwards once again, confirms this fact. Jason's ability to succeed despite the challenges and adversity he encountered in his own life make him even more admirable. In a complicated world, Jason shows everyone how taking risks with the right intentions, beliefs and ethics can make a difference. Jason has a writing style that captures the readers attention. The quotes Jason references in the book are relatable beyond the business world. Jason is not only a leader in the music industry, he continues to be an example of how we should all live our lives.
