High action, high fantasy By GOF666 Dunderland starts with energy and doesn't let you go until the end; at which point you'll go " No. Way."It's high on action, and you'll find a convincing high fantasy story that will appeal to readers across many fantasy sub-genres.There is a well structured story that cleverly utilizes a number of popular techniques - my favorites;- a slowly revealing back story- progressive framing story- adult mindset- you decide what's wrong or rightYou should read if you like:- a complete story instead of drawn out installments- 'real' or 'full' fantasy for example not set on earth, not urban setting, not sci-fi crossover- Main character perspective, 3rd person- unapologetic SNVL, but not overly or unnecessarily so- action over drama, adventure over debate- magic in all its glorious formsActual handmade cover art, thoughtful adaptation of fantasy themes, and an interesting chapter naming convention rounds off an excellent debut novel.
