Him By SFF Dragon The wonderful 'Tank' is the sixth book in the terrific Blue Collar Wolves series by Ronin Winters. It's also part of the multi-author Mating Season Collection of short, stand alone paranormal romances and I was given a copy by the author in exchange for an honest review. I was totally absorbed from the action packed beginning to the seriously hot end, and I really didn't want to put it down. I absolutely loved it.Gym owner, fighter, wolf and gentle giant Tank meets his mate Jess, the local librarian, in less than ideal circumstances. She and her friend Beth have been attacked by Jacobson's rogues and chased into an alley, they're cornered, outnumbered and Jess has no idea that werewolves are real, so when Beth tells her to run, she does, ending up a struggling mess in the arms of Tank. Desperate to save Beth, he finally gets Jess to stop fighting and tell him what happened. Despite it being the very last thing he wants to do, he tells Jess to stay put and goes to find Beth. Huddled in a corner and surrounded by dead wolves, it appears an unknown wolf killed them.Beth is a smart cookie and sees immediately that Tank has found his true mate in Jess, but she already has a boyfriend in the useless and derogatory Mike. Beth agrees to help Tank get to know her friend so she'll discover for herself that when it comes to relationships, she has options other than Mike and uses the excuse of self-defence classes to throw them together.I love Ronin Winters' books and this series just keeps getting better and better. I'm not going to give any spoilers, but there's some bad guy action, humour, lots of steam with some leather and a little tame kink making an appearance, and of course, the happily ever after we all expect. The story of Tank and Jess finishes on a hot bit at the end of chapter eight, but chapter nine, the last chapter, is about Beth and ends on a cliff-hanger. I absolutely loved this book and really can't wait for the next one.

Each individual "series" in this collection has kept me coming back because of the characters. Even if the lead female starts out as seemingly "weak", with the help of her " One"; she is able to break out of that "Cast" that bound her as weak or unworthy and showed that under it all was a strong, brave, powerful and beautiful woman! Being myself a big gal; I know what its like to be put down or looked down on by society and those who think being skin and bones is " Sexy "! Its not and thankfully even the models are finally standing up and saying enough is enough! Curvy women are beautiful and healthier looking than the way models used to look almost like holocaust victims; ribs showing and looking more like effeminate looking boys than women because they barely had any fat tissue to build up their breasts. So, if you like books with sexy as sin alpha males who on occasion turn into say a wolf or bear or big cat and love curvy women who with the right nudge show they are mouthy, feisty, brave and spirited women when with the Right guy; these books are the books for you! I can't wait to see who Devil is and if he was the man that startled Beth at the end of this book!!

I just finished reading "Tank" and I can honestly say this book is just as good as the first. I have followed the Blue Collar Wolves from the very beginning and they just keep getting better. I can't wait to read the next couples story. Iron, Brick House, Steele, Bella's Tease, Razor, Tank and their strong mates are all part of The Mating Season. I love following the lives of this pack. If you haven't read Tank and Jess's story yet, I urge you to do so. But if you really want to enjoy yourself read all 6 books they are all listed with Amazon and free to Kindle Unlimited customers. You will enjoy yourself tremendously. I have and I would like to say thank you to Ronin Winters for the excellent stories. I can't wait to read what happens next with Beth and Devil and what happens in their pack. These are books that you will love reading. Enjoy, Kat
